Andrea Kost
It can be intimidating to search online for a therapist. While this is true, it can also be difficult to remain in the same emotional place in your life. Many times, you may notice that you are repeating old patterns and finding yourself in familiar situations. I would like to help you learn how to navigate life's obstacles and daily stressors more successfully, use effective communication, increase self-respect, and lead a more balanced and authentic life. Together we will work toward a better understanding of complex emotions and experiences. I have experience in group, individual, and couples counseling, and strive to provide non-judgmental support to all of my clients. I utilize mainly DBT, CBT, and hold a certification in CPT for trauma.
What do you do for fun?
I like to sleep, reading on my porch and spending time/going out to eat with friends. I also have two extremely needy cats!
What makes you weird?
Frozen peas (like straight out of the freezer) are my favorite snack.
