- ABOUT ME
Michael Brill
I have been working in mental health for over two decades, and it is my greatest passion in life. The goal of my practice is to improve the quality of life of my clients and assist them to reach their full potential and personal goals. I believe in person centered therapy; the patient is the expert of his or her own life. I do this with individual counseling, brief crisis intervention and psychotherapy.I specialize in working with first responders and survivors of PTSD and trauma. I have experience in law enforcement, as well both in EMS and as a volunteer firefighter. I am familiar with the stress, anxiety, and struggles that come with these and the importance of protection. We will work together to explore, process, and move towards our therapeutic goals. Life is worth living and enjoying. Let’s grab a cup of coffee and chat. You will find me easy to talk with.
What do you do for fun?
I spend time with my family. I volunteer as an EMT/ firefighter and I enjoy hunting, fishing and target shooting.
What makes you weird?
My sense of humor makes me weird. I love making people laugh and will do just about anything for a laugh. I also have a sick first responder sense of humor. I love dad jokes!
What do people (e.g. clients, peers, friends, family) say about you?
People say I am a straight up honest caring person.
