- ABOUT ME
Samantha Blakeney
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, and/or interpersonal issues and are looking for a non-judgmental and holistic approach to wellness, I am here to join with you in your recovery. As a counselor, I have a variety of experience working with high-risk populations and people in crisis and believe strongly in your innate capacity for healing. My goal is to help you to gain insight and self-acceptance while working with you to establish strong boundaries and strategies in order to help you to facilitate ongoing personal growth.I believe in a person-centered, solution-focused approach that is tailored to your specific needs. I have a special passion for working with children and teens and their families through various challenges and have training in various modalities to address high-risk behaviors and substance use disorders.Reaching out for help is a difficult and important first step toward wellness. It would be my pleasure to speak with you to discuss your needs and to see if we are a good fit. Please feel free to contact me at any time via email or phone.
What do you do for fun?
Hiking, listening to true-crime podcasts, crafting, and baking.
What makes you weird?
...
What do people (e.g. clients, peers, friends, family) say about you?
Funny, creative, compassionate, open-minded, and assertive when necessary. Also, I have a very dry sense of humor with not much of a filter, so people are sometimes afraid of me when they first meet me.
