- ABOUT ME
Tyler Finley
Psychotherapy can be an empowering adventure towards insight, meaning, and connectedness. Our trek will be unique to the dynamic that emerges between us. On this journey, I’ll be carrying a bag packed to the brim with curiosity, creativity, and compassion. What will you bring, and where would you like to head first?I’m especially interested in working with queer people figuring out how to embrace and embody difference: different approaches to life, to work, to relationships, etc. I also enthusiastically welcome people with deep (or strained) connections with nature. I’m trained in ecotherapy and can incorporate nature-based activities and thinking into our work.
What do you do for fun?
I never turn down a chance to go hiking!
What makes you weird?
I believe hugging a tree can be a source of comfort. Give it a try!
What do people (e.g. clients, peers, friends, family) say about you?
My loved ones describe me as thoughtful, honest, and loyal.
What additional trainings have you completed that enhance your expertise as a counselor?
