- ABOUT ME
Divine Perez
I believe empowerment is an internal process. I see my role as helping facilitate healing in people's lives by helping them empower themselves.  I consider my therapeutic approach as eclectic, pulling from modalities like CBT, Somatic Therapy, SFBT and other client centered approaches through a trauma informed and harm reductionist lens. I have experience working with survivors of sexual assault, racial trauma, domestic violence, and, crime and I am passionate and committed about supporting all my clients in their journey through radical empathy and compassion.
What do you do for fun?
I like to go swimming, spend time with my dogs, kayak, hike and watch movies in my free time.
What makes you weird?
I still enjoy playing childhood games like tag and going on the swings.
What do people (e.g. clients, peers, friends, family) say about you?
People say that I am calming, that I make them feel safe, and that I am funny.
